Scope of the summer school is to train young scientists to:
• study how complex geomorphology shapes the headwaters network of alpine areas;
• Identify different stream types occurring in glacierized, semi-glacierized and non-glacierized mountain areas;
• characterize the environmental and biotic features of different stream types.
